To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Director Supply Chain Management (M/F/d) located in Althofen, Austria or Tczew, Poland.

Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain Management, the Senior Director Supply Chain Management role will lead a team of supply chain management professionals and be in charge of developing and implementing world class supply chain strategies that provide Flex and our Customers with a Strategic Market advantage.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Create and implement a global supply chain strategy in support of the Global program that is synchronized with business segment material strategies and metrics;
  • Implement programs to optimize inventory turnover while mitigating inventory exposure and reducing risk for both Flex and our customer;
  • Drive strategic procurement initiatives to maximize cost reduction. Measure and report on project status both internally and to the customer;
  • Direct customer quotation requirements. Interface with Flex Quotation Group during the quotation process to ensure all costed Bills of Material are competitive, support the defined supply chain strategy, and minimize Flex exposure to inventory impacted by quoted pricing;
  • Lead purchasing activities associated with New Product Introduction efforts. Complete line item source awards, new supplier development, and item-master upload;
  • Direct interaction with Business Development and Global Account Management team members in assisting with customer meetings, escalations, and provide support in the sales cycle.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Completed degree related to Supply Chain Management or another relevant field;
  • Extensive experience in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management ideally in contract manufacturing industry or OEM background;
  • Strong business acumen with extensive customer interfacing skills;
  • Knowledge in inventory management, negotiations, logistics and P&L;
  • Experience working with high priority, high visibility accounts.
