Circular Packaging Implementation Manager (F/m/d)

Tasks that await me :

• Become part of ALDI SOUTH Group’s „Gobal Capability Hub“ for Sustainable Packaging - focusing on dairy, fresh meat and/or chilled convenience
• Support Global Sourcing and National Buying Departments in Europe to implement ALDI SOUTH Group’s sustainable packaging commitments (recyclability, recycled content, virgin plastic reduction, weight reduction)
• Deploy optimisation and harmonisation of packaging in the respective food categories
• Establish and manage day to day relationships with packaging suppliers to provide technical and commercial insights
• Be part of an international and interdisciplinary project team, collaborate with international and national teams (Buying, Corporate Responsibility, Supply Chain Management, Quality Assurance, Brand Management)

My qualifications :

• Completed studies with focus on engineering, natural science or economy - ideally with focus on packaging and/or plastics
• Multiple years of in-depth work experience in retail, recycling, plastic conversion, packaging manufacturing, consumer product industry (e.g. food, beverage, household or personal care)
• Proven project management skills
• Fluency in English
• Intercultural sensitivity and willingness to travel internationally

Remuneration : Attractive gross annual salary starting from € 92,150.
